A featherbed made with Down and feathers
Featherbeds displayed at Luxury Comforter US are filled with white treated duck feathers in the first layer and duck Down in the upper layer. Featherbed is a thick 3 inches layer of feathers lying Down on the mattress under the bed sheet. It brings an additional and amazing coziness to the mattress.
The construction of the Luxury Comforter US Featherbed
Featherbed size matches perfectly to the size of american mattresses. The featherbed weight keeps it immobile during the night. The baffle box structure allows feathers to expand to their maximum volume. The fabric wall that divides each box from another will not let feather to move from box to box. Feathers are stuck at their box, thus, featherbed filling always remains homogeneous. The featherbed is three inches thick. A 3 inches gusset helps feathers not to be crushed and it also lets the featherbed to keep its shape. The casing of the feather bed is made of 100% Downproof cotton with a 233 thread count fabric. This fabric is resistant enough to avoid leaking of the feather through the featherbed.
